REVIEW: It’s a rare treat for me to sample Torrontés in a sparkling form. This dry sparkling wine is fragrant on the nose with aromas of rose, cantaloupe, lychee, clementine, and sweet lemon. On the palate it has citrus flavours, a mix of clementine and lemon, or more accurately pomelo with floral and herbal notes. It is light to medium bodied with vibrant acidity and a crisp finish.

Tasted March 2019.

WINE-FOOD PAIRING: I paired mine with shrimp dumplings. This would pair nicely with with sushi, Asian food, tempura fried asparagus, or with fried seafood appetizers.

SCORE: 89
