REVIEW: Made from Grenache, this full-bodied Red has aromas of plum and cassis spread with notes of cedar and a mix of fresh and dried flowers. The fresh flower aromas are leaning towards lilac and violet. There’s also notes of chocolate, black pepper, and mint. The dark fruit, chocolate, and black pepper follow through on the palate with noticeable tannins and a bitter finish. Decanter this wine at least one hour prior to serving.

WINE-FOOD PAIRING: This is a food-friendly wine that pairs well with hearty red meat dishes. Try it with a peppered steak, roast beef, or with venison. It would also work with stew. I had mine with a beef roast served with zucchini, parsnip, and mushrooms.
