Alcohol/Volume: 12.5%

REVIEW: A beautiful ruby coloured hand-harvested Pinot Noir with aromas of black cherry, strawberry, cedar, vanilla bean, cinnamon, and black pepper. After a swirl, aromas of violet also seep through.

Tart on the palate with sour cherry and field berry flavours along with vanilla and wood notes, it is medium bodied with silky tannins and a long finish.

Tasted March 2019.

WINE-FOOD PAIRING: I enjoyed mine with duck roast. It would also pair well with grilled Portobello mushrooms or with barbecued pork chops.

SCORE: 89
