WINE REVIEW: A ruby coloured Red with aromas of plum, blackberry, menthol, eucalyptus, anise, fennel, sweet spice, cedar, black olive, and hints of milk chocolate.
On the palate, it has tart plum and blackberry flavours with a touch of sweet spice and cedar and a slightly bitter finish. It is medium-bodied with gentle tannins and bright acidity. Overall, an easy drinking type of wine.

WINE-FOOD PAIRING: I paired mine with homemade pizza topped with Italian dried sausage, red pepper, and sharp cheese. It paired wonderfully. This wine would also pair nicely with prosciutto, dried sausage, pasta with meat sauce, creamy cheese, or with sharp Italian cheese.
