Review: Made using the traditional method and aged on lees for 26 months, this Gamay based Sparkling Rosé presents a visually striking salmon hue. The nose unveils blackcurrant and raspberry notes intertwined with hints of rhubarb, followed by nuances of butterscotch, almond, and wet stone.
Dry and medium-bodied, the palate offers a smooth and pleasant mouthfeel. Notes of crab apple and rhubarb mingle with citrusy pink grapefruit and mineral accents. A fantastic pairing for a charcuterie board.
Tasted May 2024.
