Alc./Vol.: 11.2%
Review: Made in the traditional method from 97% Riesling and 3% Merlot and aged on lees for a period of 1 year.
Nose: Peach, Red Delicious apple and lots of mineral notes with subtle tropical fruit, delicate field strawberries, a slight saline quality, marzipan and clementine.
Mouth: Dry, medium bodied, with fine bubbles that are plentiful. Flavours of grapefruit, Red Delicious apple, lemon, clementine, a touch of almond danish and a slightly bitter finish.
Tasted June 2020

Food-Pairing: I had it with fried appetizers that included fried wonton and fried chicken. It would also work well with tempura fried seafood.
