REVIEW: This rich ruby coloured Red has sweet aromas of black cherry and plum, with violet, menthol, cinnamon, cocoa, and a hint of smoke.

On the palate, it has tart plum flavours with cinnamon, milk chocolate, and a touch of oak. It is full-bodied with tannins that are well integrated and a nice long finish.

Tasted January 2019.

WINE-FOOD PAIRING: I paired this wine with roast beef in a peppered dry rub served with roasted potatoes and bell peppers. It was an excellent pairing.
